Thursday
night, when Madonna ended her “Sticky and Sweet” tour with a concert that took
place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles,
both Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake joined the pop-queen on stage. Only
they performed alongside the iconic singer separately, even though before the
event, media was buzzing that they would be featured together during the show.
Britney
joined Madonna for the latter’s “Human Nature” performance, the 26-year-old
star showing up on stage dressed in satin black pants and a white suit
shirt that really did justice to her figure, while her long blond hair was
flowing in the wind as she sang the last chorus of the song with the queen bee.
Later on, Justin Timberlake gave the audience gathered at
Dodger Stadium the thrills, performing his and Madonna’s duet „4 Minutes,” his black
pants and jacket leaving the female fans craving to see more of him as he put
his dancing moves on and bolstered the crowd into a craze.
As for Madonna herself, it appears she couldn’t restrain
from making a political statement yet once again, ending her „Sticky and Sweet”
tour the way she kicked it off back in late August at the Millennium Stadium in
Cardiff, Wales, where she endorsed then-presidential candidate Barack Obama in
a manner that left no room for interpretation.
Thursday, she voiced her disappointment at the fact that a
ban on gay marriage had passed in California, stating she felt sad because even
though the United States had finally overcome their racism issues (with Obama
having been elected the first non-white American president), discrimination
against gay people still lingered.
