This girl cannot manage to keep herself out of tabloids for one straight week. She’s done it again: this time, the pop star was pulled over by Highway Patrol on Sunday.

Brit got in a bit of trouble Sunday night and of course, the paparazzi were there to immortalize the moment.

X-17 Online reports that Britney was driving her white Mercedes convertible when she was pulled over by Highway Patrol. She was headed east on Interstate 10 around 12:30 a.m., with two male dancers in the car.

The singer reportedly drove another mile, with the police car behind her, before pulling over. Her excuse for speeding: being chased by paparazzi.

Due to her reported cooperation with authorities, Britney’s adventure ended with a warning. X-17 Online reports that after the officers left, one of her male companions took the while and the threesome headed back towards Los Angeles.

Other than this, Britney has been in the media lately on account of the ugly custody case building up between former husband Kevin Federline and herself. It seems Federline is determined to show the judge handling the case that Brit-Brit is not a fit mother.

His legal team has been busy throughout August serving deposition subpoenas to various persons in Britney’s entourage, which will have to testify about her lifestyle and her parenting skills.

According to tabloid reports, Britney is not grieving over the loss of her husband (and father of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James). The singer has been romanticizing life with the help of 39-year-old magician Criss Angel.

Britney has also kept busy preparing for her musical comeback. Not long after checking out of rehab in March, photos began to appear in the media showing Britney as she arrived for or left her dancing lessons.

A studio album, the first in about 4 years, is supposedly scheduled for release in the near future.
