Are you ready to party? You’d better be, because Britney Spears will hit the stage as early as tonight, as part of her highly-anticipated comeback tour.

 

In spite of the fact that the singer’s affairs are still under the control of her father, the numerous months of rehearsal and try-out in an attempt to get her voice and sexy body back have finally paid off, since the newly recovered pop icon is scheduled to open her 44-concert tour in New Orleans on Tuesday.

 

In addition, Britney Spears has disclosed further information with regard to her Circus world tour. The star issued a set list on her official Web site which revealed that a video from gossip blogger Perez Hilton was chosen to open the show before the performer sings her well-known hits, “Circus” and “Piece of Me.”

 

Each section of her sumptuous new tour will bear a different name, such as “Freakshow/Peepshow” and “House of Fun.” Britney Spears’ fans will be able to listen to their favorite classic tracks, including “Hit Me Baby One More Time,” “Toxic” and “Me Against the Music.”

 

Britney Spears will be accompanied on stage by illusionist Ed Alonzo, while the Pussycat Dolls will serve as the opening act for the 27-year-old artist.

 

“From the moment tickets went on sale, buzz was strong this wasn’t going to be a tour that failed,” explained Gary Bongiovanni, editor in chief of concert tracker Pollstar, as quoted by the New York Daily News. “A lot of shows are sold out or close to it.”
