Jayden
James, Britney Spears’ 2-year-old son, has been released from a medical
facility in Mississippi, where he was admitted earlier this week-end after
he had a reaction to something he had ingested, as the doctors concluded.
Monday, a post on Britney’s official website www.britneyspears.com
informed that one day before, Jayden had been hospitalized with a bad reaction
to something he had eaten, adding that he would be discharged from the hospital
on Tuesday. Nevertheless, a photo showing Spears and her son leaving the
medical facility was released by TMZ.com Monday evening.
Media reports citing sources close to the pop-star’s family
have revealed that both Britney and her mother Lynne had spent Sunday night at
the hospital with the young boy, who according to the same sources, had broken
out in hives by virtue of the allergic reaction.
Britney Spears, 26, married Kevin Federline on September 18,
2004, after only six months since the two had met. About one year later, on
September 14, 2005, their first child, Sean Preston Federline, was born, while
his baby brother Jayden James saw the light of day for the very first time in
2006, only two days before Sean’s birthday, on September 12.
That same
year, on November 7, Britney filed for divorce, also asking for full custody of
her two sons. The divorce was finalized in July 2007, while in September the court
ruled that Spears and Federline share joint custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Still, on October
1, Britney lost physical custody of her children to Federline and only in
July this year, she managed to regain her visitation rights, with Sean and Jayden
remaining under the sole custody of their father.
