Britney Spears’ Dad Unaware Of Her Secret Conversations With Sam Lutfi

Appearing at a court hearing yesterday in Los Angeles seeking to have the restraining order against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib extended indefinitely, Britney Spears’ father Jamie failed to demonstrate why a restraining order is necessary.

According to Jamie Spears, either Britney’s former manager Sam Lutfi or her ex-boyfriend photograher Adnan Ghalib, who have been forbidden to contact Britney, slipped her a pre-paid cell phone on which both men contacted the singer, but he admitted under questioning from Lutfi’s attorney, that he didn’t know of any conversations between his daughter and any of the two men.

Britney's nanny discovered the singer talking on a cell phone in her room during the wee hours of the night. However, Britney, who is under her father’s conservatorship for over a year, is not allowed to have a cell phone. She must use either her father's phone or the house phone.

Recalling how he discovered what he believed to be the phone from either Sam of Adnan, Jamie Spears said he asked Britney’s head of security to look through her things and get the cell phone. He then confronted his daughter who told him she had gotten it from someone while she was at a hotel. Perusing the numbers on the phone, Jamie saw several calls to people he believed to be Sam, using the code name “CityGalN310,” and Adnan, who supposedly used the code name “Ruba.”

On January 10, Sam, using the CityGalN310 name, allegedly sent several texts to Jamie before ultimately calling him on the phone.

”Sam wanted to know if he could help me in any way,” Jamie told the court Monday afternoon. The hearing isn’t until Wednesday, but he had to testify earlier because he will be out of town then.

Continuing his testimony, Jamie called Sam a dangerous “predator” and repeated the same accusations that had a judge grant the restraining order in the first place, that Sam drugged his daughter and attempted to take over her life.

Lutfi's attorney, Bryan Freedman, said the hearing “couldn't have gone any better,” and insisted that his client was not a threat.
