Pop queen Britney Spears has had some tough years. Between being accused of illegal drug use, alcoholism, driving under the influence, shaving her head, performing abysmally at the MTV awards last year, divorcing and temporarily losing custody of her children because of repeated neglect, it’s no wonder that she has been a tabloid superstar. As she herself says in one of her latest songs, they all want a piece of hers. Undoubtedly the paparazzi and public pressure have taken a toll on the former teen idol.
However, Britney Spears appears to be cleaning up her act: she has recently been seen physically clean, tests have declared her drug-free, she has been absent at a lot of parties, she is no longer getting drunk and stripping in front of Paris Hilton a day before her custody trial, her hair looks smooth and silky and her body shape tells us that she has finally decided to work out again. All signs point to a forceful comeback from the controversial pop star.
To further share her recent achievements with the world and her remaining (and quite stubborn) fans, Britney has decided to shoot a documentary underlining accomplishments in both her professional and personal life.
As a scene from the documentary entitled “Britney: For the Record” reveals, the 26-year-old star decided to clean up her act after looking back into her troubled past. Her father, Jamie Spears, was one of the people who helped her get back on her feet and has also taken upon him the task of managing her finances and affairs.
Her latest album, “Circus”, is due to appear on December 2nd – also her birthday, after her documentary will be aired on MTV on the 30th of November. Everything seems to be in line for a spectacular comeback, and we wish the singer the best of luck in all her endeavors.
