As the words “Britney Spears” and “comeback” are being used in the same sentence more and more often, the singer delighted her remaining fans by announcing the dates of the North American leg of her upcoming world tour.
Britney Spears, who celebrates her 29th birthday today, will head line an arena tour for the first time in five years. The world tour will begin next year and comes alongside the release of the singer’s highly-anticipated sixth studio album, "Circus." The album already gave the No. 1 hit single "Womanizer" and received numerous positive reviews.
Britney Spears North American tour will begin in her home state of Louisiana and will include 27 cities including Los Angeles, Dallas, and Washington. The tickets will be available for purchase on December 6 and the rehearsing for the tour is scheduled to begin in January. The tour kicks off in February.
Want to hear some more good news? The Pussycat Dolls will be supporting Britney Spears, so fans will be even more satisfied.
Despite the last two or three years, which were very chaotic and unsuccessful for Britney, the singer is still an attention magnet and the interest in her eventual comeback is huge. The fact that her name was the most searched on Yahoo.com this year (Obama’s was ninth) is a fact that speaks for its self.
