Britney Spears is preparing her musical comeback and the first song to make its way out into the world is a romantic heartbroken ballad – if reports are correct.
There has been so much talk, endless speculation and rumoring and downright gossiping about troubled Britney Spears’s past several months… and few have expressed compassion for the singer.
Her outrageous and erratic behavior has so many criticizing and packs of paparazzi hounding her, that it’s a wonder she still leaves the house.
Several online publications report today that a brand new song form Britney’s upcoming studio album, meant to reinstate her as the musical icon she was before getting married, having children, divorcing and stunning all with her chaotic stunts, has leaked.
British tabloid The Daily Mail reports that a song titled “Baby Boy” has been leaked. The lyrics are nothing short of a “love me, feed me, never leave me” plea, showing a vulnerable and sad Britney.
She doesn’t sound angry, she doesn’t sound vengeful. She’s only saying she’s suffering.
“Everyday I'm in a daze, looking for that someone, and everyday, I sit and kneel and pray,” the lyrics go, “Oh, sweet love, can I get some? So why do you desert me, baby boy? I need your love right now!”
Would that be former husband Kevin Federline, the father of her two toddler children, Sean Preston, almost 2, and Jayden James, almost 1, that she’s calling “baby boy?”
I for one can’t help but feel sorry for the 25-year-old singer. She became a child star as a blondish, smiling mousequeteer in “The New Mickey Mouse Club” and then turned into an international star overnight when her debut album was released – she was merely 17.
She married Kevin Federline before turning 23 and had two children within the following two years. She filed for divorce several weeks after her second baby was born.
Now she is in the midst of an ugly custody battle with Federline and it seems to be getting uglier by the day. His veiled hints that Britney is not a fit mother turned into subpoenas served to her entourage who will be asked about her parenting style.
To top it all off, the dreadful phrase “child abuse” has entered the scene, as Britney Spears is allegedly investigated for not ensuring her sons’ safety and good health. A complaint lodged with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services alleges poor dental hygiene, eating and sleeping habits for the two boys.
TMZ is speculating that the person behind this could be Kevin Federline himself.
