Britney Spears’ breakup from her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib didn’t last, which makes us wonder if it happened in the first place, as the two were spotted together Tuesday afternoon.
Moreover, Ghalib was behind the wheel of Britney’s white Mercedes SL when he crashed into a non-paparazzo motorcyclist later in the afternoon. He was reportedly trying to pass the biker when he sideswiped him before speeding away.
Rumors of their split started after the two, who seemed inseparable over the past weeks, were not seen together during the weekend, after Britney’s "manager" Osama Lutfi claimed the singer had filed a restraining order against Ghalib.
In recent weeks, the Birmingham-born snapper, who for the photo agency FinalPixx, has been seen accompanying the troubled pop star on shopping excursions, restaurant outings and to court.
According to reports, Ghalib said his relationship with Britney developed after the pop star was released from the hospital following her meltdown on January 3, when she refused to hand over her two children to Kevin Federline’s bodyguard.
"We managed to spend a long time together, away from the media," he said.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ghalib rejected accusations that he was profiting from the relationship.
"A lot of people perceive to know or understand her, she's the most photographed woman in the world," he said, adding that "if you take time to scratch the surface, then you can understand how amazing she is."
As pictures of the two surfaced and their relationship took a more serious turn, Ghalib’s wife filed for legal separation from the photographer on Friday, People reported.
Azlynn Elizabeth Berry cited irreconcilable differences for the split seeking spousal support and that her attorney's fees be paid by the 35-year-old photographer. According to Ghalib’s photo-agency employer, he and his wife have been separated for more than a year.
