A 51-year-old British woman, grandmother of 5, claims to be married to one of Osama bin Laden’s sons, the 27-year-old Omar bin Laden.

Jane Felix-Browne’s story became public knowledge on Wednesday, when the Times and Sun newspapers reported her tale of romance with an offspring of the world’s most wanted terrorist.

Felix-Browne has been living in Moulton, a village in northwestern England, for the past decade or so. She has been married five times (which makes this her sixth), has three sons and five grandchildren, according to media reports. She is a parish councilor in her village.

The woman says she and Omar bin Laden met last year in Egypt. He reportedly fell in love with her when he saw her riding a horse near the Great Pyramid, last fall. They married on April 24.

The two have had Islamic marriage ceremonies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, according to Felix-Browne. Omar was already married to a woman when he married her. Islam law allows men to have several wives.

Felix-Browne has said she does not mind the other wife and that she is not jealous. She goes by the Islamic name of Zaina Mohamad.

She says of her sixth husband, who works as a scrap metal dealer in Jedda, Saudi Arabia: “I fell in love with Omar. He's an innocent man who I never judged by his father's reputation. Only after we were together two months, did I ask him about Osama.”

Felix-Browne has also said that the only reason she would like to meet her father-in-law would be to ask about the September 11 attacks: if he was indeed involved and if so, why.

The newlyweds were last together in May when she spent three weeks at his home in Jeddah, she said. She says they talk daily, on the phone or on the internet.
