“Brady Bunch” McCormick Tells All In Memoirs Book

"The Brady Bunch" fans now have the chance to savor the life behind the scene of Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia Brady, the older sister on the classic sitcom. The 52-year-old actress writes it all in her new memoir entitled "Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice." Fans will have the chance to read spicy details about McCormick’s romance with Barry Williams, her dates with Michael Jackson and Steve Martin, as well as her addiction to cocaine.

The hot stuff about one writes memoirs began while filming episodes of the sitcom in Hawaii. McCormick wrote that she and Williams “couldn’t hold back any longer.” The actress describes her first kiss with Williams as long, passionate and deep.

“It was wonderful, too, though as we continued to kiss and press against each other so closely that we could feel each other's body heat, a part of me — a tiny part, admittedly — said to myself, `Oh my God! I'm kissing my brother. What am I doing?'"

As of Steve Martin, the actress wrote that he was a very good kisser, but felt insecure with him and she didn’t laugh at his jokes.

“I was insecure and either high or spaced out (most likely both),” McCormick writes.

"Though Steve was too polite and confident of his talent to say anything, I'm sure my inability to carry on a normal conversation or respond intelligently put him off," she writes, adding that she would have enjoyed a second date with Martin.

Then the actress mentions her relationship with pop sensation Michael Jackson. The two met while McCormick was starring on "Brady." Michael was still part of the Jackson 5 back then. The two went ice skating and held hands, but there wasn’t anything hot about it.

"I wondered if he might try to kiss me, but he didn't. After another outing, he did give me a kiss goodbye. But it was only a gentle peck on the cheek," the actress writes in her book of memoirs.

Other similar spicy details about McCormick's life which include her cocaine addiction, depression, parties at the Playboy Mansion and the home of Sammy Davis Jr, unwanted pregnancy, are described in detail in the actress’ book which hits the shelves Tuesday.
