Although they have six children who unite them no matter
what, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have not officially tied the knot. However,
the 44-year-old actor says that he will make his relationship with the
“Changeling” star legal if this is necessary for the wellbeing of their kids.
The artist, whose latest film, “The Curious Case of Benjamin
Button,” is scheduled to be released on December 25, told “Today’s” Ann Curry
on Tuesday’s show that he was very proud of his family, adding that he
concentrated on bringing up the little ones together with his partner.
In addition, the “Burn After Reading” star said that the kids’ varied histories
did not represent an impediment to their family status and that they were “brothers
and sisters” in spite of all differences.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have only three biological
children, 2-year-old Shiloh, and the already famous twins, Knox Leon and
Vivienne Marcheline, who were born in July this year.
The couple’s other three kids have been adopted – Maddox, 7,
is from Cambodia, Pax, 5, is
from Vietnam, and Zahara, 3,
is from Ethiopia.
Brad Pitt also said that he felt “rich” in the company of
his children, adding that “each one of them offers so much to the mix.”
Nevertheless, being the father of six can’t possibly be easy, even when you are
a superstar, the actor explained during the NBC program.
He confessed that he did not always feel comfortable with
talking about his family, because he enjoyed keeping the loved ones “close to
the chest.” Moreover, he said that he disliked paparazzi, as he was not able to
understand why they had chosen such a job.
Although Brad Pitt was invited on the “Today” show in order
to talk about his charity work and the New
Orleans homes project, the actor ended up talking
about Angelina Jolie and their children, since they always steal the spotlight.
