Brad Pitt faced and cleared allegations that he began an affair with Angelina Jolie while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Fed up with rumors circulating about his love life, 45-year-old Pitt decided to put an end to this uncomfortable situation once and for all. Therefore, at page six of the W magazine Pitt states that "What people don't understand is that we filmed for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up. He turned out to be a gentleman by defending both women.

 

After a very public divorce, Pitt admitted his relationship with Jolie, mother of his three biological and three adopted children. Rather, according to Pitt: “I'm very proud of the way it was handled. It was respectful.” But as a qualification of the way things happened, Pitt's definition of the meaning of the word "respectful" might differ a little from his ex-wife's, as she hit out at Jolie calling her comments "really uncool" when last year the “Tomb Raider” revealed the fact that she and Pitt fell in love on the set of the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
 

Both Jolie and Pitt have denied that their love story begun during his marriage and Pitt now says that his early relationship with Jolie was "respectful" of his marriage with Aniston.
 

Experts such as New York-based marriage and family therapist Rachel Sussman, think that any emotional affair is still an affair. The very moment one finds them self having feelings for someone apart from their spouse, well that is nothing but the beginning of an affair. That is precisely why whether Pitt and Jolie consummated their relationship while he was still married makes no difference whatsoever. It is absolutely irrelevant since, experts say, that emotional cheating is very difficult, yet not impossible to avoid.

 

Too many business dinners and long work trips away from family may turn out to be dangerous to any marriage, as solid as it may seem. In this case, let us all remember the playing a hot-to-trot married couple scenes between Pitt and Jolie in the movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," and then ask ourselves whether the result is scientifically justified or not.                      

 

In spite of all the sensationalized reports which appeared in the tabloids about a supposed rivalry between the "Marley & Me" star and her ex-husband's new love, the actor insisted that he and Aniston have managed to maintain a friendly relationship, by checking in on one another from time to time.

 

Jennifer Aniston, whom Brad Pitt referred to as “a sweetheart,” has been romantically involved right now with musician and international player John Mayer.

 

All in all, Brad Pitt is only to be admired for always being an eco trendsetter. He got involved in developing new technologies for electric cars and reducing our dependence on oil. He also designed an eco friendly neighborhood in New Orleans where he built energy efficient homes for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
