Two new games will be launched this Wednesday 18th July on
the Xbox LIVE service: “Bomberman Live” from Hudson Entertainment, and “Yie Ar Kung Fu”
from Konami.
Designed by Hudson Entertainment especially for Xbox LIVE Arcade, “Bomberman Live” is a game in which the players
guide their unique Bomberman around a grid-like arena, avoiding opponents and
their bombs while attempting to bomb the competition.
The game offers a multiplayer mode, with eight arenas including
Lost World, where players can sink in puddles of quicksand, and Ghost Town,
where players can fall into trap doors.
Also, the players may fully customize their Bomberman by
choosing from 10,000 possible combinations. The new title is rated 12+ and it
will cost 800 MS points.
The second game, “Yie Ar Kung Fu”, developed by Konami is a
classic fighting game in which the players will assume the role of Oolong. He
is on the quest to become the ultimate champion, but in order to achieve his
goal Oolong must first defeat the masters at the Martial Arts Championship.
The title is rated 10+ and it will be available for 400 MS
points.
Recently Microsoft announced that its Xbox Live service has
reached 6 million members. The service was unveiled in November 2005 and since
then gamers have spent over 2.3 billion hours on the network playing games
online with their friends around the world.
