To mark Israel’s 60th anniversary, Osama bin Laden sent a message via an audio recording in which he vowed to continue fighting the Jewish state and its allies and protect the Palestinian land, Reuters reported.
"We will continue, God permitting, the fight against the Israelis and their allies ... and will not give up a single inch of Palestine as long as there is one true Muslim on earth," said bin Laden, most likely the world’s most known terrorist.
The al Qaeda leader who is also believed to be the founder of the terrorist organization posted the audio recorded message on an Islamist website on Friday. The message is addressed to "Western peoples" and entitled "The Causes of Conflict on the 60th Anniversary of the State of Israeli Occupation."
In his audio recorded speech, bin Laden also underlined the fact that the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians was and is the core of the fight between the Muslims and the Western forces and an inspiration to the 19 bombers who carried out the September 11 attacks on U.S. cities in 2001.
A member of the prestigious and wealthy bin Laden family, Osama said that the fact that Israel is only 60 years old shows that it did not exist 60 years ago. The Islamic militant, who took responsibility for the September 11 attacks that reduced the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center to rubble, said the state of Israel was established on land violently seized from the Palestinians.
Bin Laden also picked on the Western media claiming that over the years it painted the Israeli as the victims of the conflict and not the Palestinians, who are actually fighting to regain the territory from which they had been displaced from.
