Hawaiian singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, whose recently released “Sleep through the Static” album set a sales record for 2008, will headline the first All Points West Music & Arts Festival in early August near Manhattan.

As previously promised, Coachella promoter Goldenvoice announced this week the lineup for the first All Points West Music & Arts Festival, which will take place on August 8-10 at Liberty State Park in New Jersey.

Radiohead and Jack Johnson will be headlining, with the British band performing on both the first and the second nights of the event, while Johnson will headline the final evening. Billboard.com informs.

The lineup also features Underworld, Kings of Leon, Cat Power, the Roots, the New Pornographers and Girl Talk, among others.

Concertgoers will also take delight in the sounds of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Youssou N'Dour, Animal Collective, Andrew Bird, Michael Franti & Spearhead, MeAmadou & Mariam, the Black Angels, Sia, the Felice Brothers, K'Naan, Jason Isbell, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Alberta Cross and many others.

Johnson’s latest album, “Sleep through the Static,” has been riding a high wave on the U. S. pop charts, reigning at No. 1 for two consecutive weeks and having sold more than half a million albums during this time. His first week sales of 374,600 copies, as estimated by Nielsen SoundScan, marked 2008’s first musical sales record.

Johnson also headlines the Coachella festival near Los Angeles in April, alongside established acts The Verve, Portishead and former Pink Floyd songwriter and singer Roger Waters.

The seventh annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, unfolding between June 12-15 in Manchester, Tennessee, will likewise benefit from the presence of the Hawaiian-born musician, as well as fellow headliners Pearl Jam, Metallica and Kanye West.

Tickets for All Points West go on sale Feb. 29. Single-day tickets are $89, while three-day passes will sell for $258. Part of the proceeds will benefit Friends of Liberty State Park, which is working to make environmentally friendly improvements to the venue, Billboard reports.
