Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z have yet to confirm that they
indeed wed Friday, April 4, but the “Bootylicious” singer apparently had no
qualms in flashing a huge diamond ring Tuesday night at Jay-Z’s concert in Atlanta,
reports People.com.
Did they, did they not? We are all left with the uncertainty
of Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z’s supposed April 4 wedding. Neither family nor
friends have officially confirmed the news and less than all, the happy couple
themselves.
Yet Beyoncé made her own kind of statement Tuesday night,
when she attended Jay-Z’s concert with Mary J. Blige at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta. Her wedding
finger comfortably sported a “whopping chunk of diamond,” People.com reports.
The 26-year-old singer sat in a VIP area of the arena, with
the couple’s friend Usher, and wore a short black dress, big hoop earrings and
the sumptuous diamond which she waved proudly when Jay-Z sang “I got the
hottest chick in the game wearing my chain” during his performance of “PSA.”
Beyoncé and Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) reportedly
married during a very intimate ceremony in New York City on Friday then celebrated with
family and friends in a lavish party.
The guests included Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman
Chris Martin, Beyoncé’s Destiny’s Child gal-pals Michelle Williams and Kelly
Rowland and many others.
The two singers secured a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y.,
last Tuesday, fuelling heated speculation regarding an impending change of
marital status.
No one has confirmed the wedding yet. Beyoncé's sister
Solange told People.com that she knows nothing of a wedding. “I don't know
anything about [a wedding]. You'll have to ask her yourself.”
When talk of babies came up, Solange, who is a single mom to
3-year-old Daniel Julez, says she expects her older sis to turn to her for help
when she decides to have a child. “Whenever Beyoncé decides to have a child, I
definitely think she'll be banging on my door,” she told the magazine.
