Beautiful Couple Danes and Dancy Are Finally Enagaged!

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy are engaged! People.com reports that a representative for the American actress and British actor has confirmed they will be tying the knot. The stars, who have been dating for more than a year, met while filming the 2007 romantic drama “Evening.”

Danes, 29, and Dancy, 33, recently stepped out together at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Directors Guild Awards.
Danes is a Golden Globe Award-winner and Emmy Award-nominated film, television, and theater actress. Aside from her appearances in films such as “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” and “Romeo + Juliet,” Danes is best known for her role as Angela Chase, the socially hypocritical teenager on “My So Called Life” who breaks the heart of Brian Krakow to pursue a romance with the emotionally unavailable, much better looking Jordan Catalano (played by Jared Leto). Additionally, Danes auditioned for and was James Cameron’s first choice to portray the character of Rose in “Titanic.” Rose, of course, promises to never let go of Jack before letting him drop to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Danes previously was romantically involved with Australian singer Ben Lee before ending their relationship in 2003.

Beginning in 2004, the actress had falled for actor Billy Crudup. Their relationship ended in Dec. 2006. Before meeting Dancy, she has also dated Andrew Dorff, actor Stephen Dorff's younger brother, and Matt Damon.

Meanwhile Dancy is ready for a big screen comeback with his upcoming comedy “Confessions of a Shopaholic”, starring alongside Australian actress Isla Fisher. Likewise, Dancy was romantically involved with his long term girlfriend, UK artist Annie Morris.
