Bad Company 2, Battlefield 1943 Confirmed by EA/DICE

Bad Company gets to have a sequel, as confirmed by DICE, the Electronic Arts studio who authored last year’s success.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the game with multiplayer capabilities, praises on its vehicular warfare, which has been described as never before experienced in a modern warfare action game. Haggard, Sarge, Sweetwater, and Malowe will dispose of a heavy arsenal of deadly weapons and a slew of vehicles to aid mountaintops, dense jungles and dusty villages.

Bad Company 2 has been described by EA and DICE as total destruction. The game will use the same Frostbite engine as the other title announced by EA, Battlefield 1943.

Battlefield 1943 is due this summer, when it will launch on PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store, on Xbox 360 via Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and on PC. EA and DICE revealed some details about the Battlefield 1943 game, which will take players back to World War II. The action will take players in three different settings, the Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima.

Speaking of Bad Company 2, DICE Executive Producer Battlefield Franchise Karl Magnus Troedsson said it takes everything that players liked in the original and ups the ante-more vehicles, more destruction and more team play.

Furthermore, Battlefield 1934has been described by Troedsson as a new take on a blast from the past classic coming to life with brand new technology that we’re eager to get into player’s hands.
