Backstreet Boys star, Howie Dorough and his girlfriend of six years, Leigh Boniello, tied the knot on Saturday in his hometown of Orlando, Florida.

"The wedding took place as planned, and all went well," Dorough’s attorney Jason L. Turner said in a statement.

The two, who met while Boniello was working as the webmaster for the Backstreet Boys site, exchanged vows in front of family and friends, including Howie’s fellow Backstreet bandmates, at St James Cathedral during a traditional Catholic ceremony, People and OK! magazine reported.

"The whole thing was like it belonged in a bridal magazine," one guest was quoted by People as saying. "It was absolutely perfect."

Looking very beautiful in her gown, Leigh walked down the isle with trumpet sounds in the background. Father Miguel Gonzalez performed the traditional Catholic ceremony, which featured a reading by Howie's sister Angie and a performance of "Ave Maria" by his other sister Pollyanna, OK! reported.

The 34-year-old singer, known as Howie D, overcame his anxiety and popped the question last year on New Year’s Eve.

"She wasn't expecting it, and I was quite nervous—more nervous about proposing to her in front of 40 family and friends than about performing in front of 40,000 people onstage," Dorough told People earlier this year.

Dorough is the third Backstreet boy to get married, following Brian Littrell and the now retired Kevin Richardson.

The band, without Kevin, is currently on tour promoting their sixth album "Unbreakable" which was released in October.

"This time around, we made a conscious decision to go back to what people know us best for, which is our live entertaining shows, vocal harmonies, good, easy pop listening songs, up-tempo songs," Dorough said last month.
