“Grey’s Anatomy” actress turned bona fide movie star Katherine Heigl has garnered yet another title to her growing collection: the “most desirable woman of 2008,” according to lifestyle website AskMen.com.
AskMen.com published its annual list of 99 Most Desirable Women Thursday, with actress Katharine Heigl topping the chart for reasons such as an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series; starring in the box-office hit “Knocked Up;” being interviewed by Barbara Walters as one of the “!0 Most Fascinating People of 2007;” and for being “beautiful, well-spoken, humorous, talented... the list goes on,” the site says.
Conclusion: “No one belongs at the top of 2008's Top 99 more than Katherine Heigl.”
The following nine spots are occupied by supermodels, actresses, and singers, compiled by AskMen.com readers and staff. The list aims to act “as the definitive gauge for identifying what modern men desire most in their female companions.”
Brazilian “heaven-sent” supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio placed second on the list, followed by British actress Kate Beckinsale, who is “more than just a pretty face,” she is also “Oxford-educated.”
At No. 4 is “the vivacious” Eva Mendes, a “Hollywood heartbreaker” who has become a “respected actress,” as described by AskMen.com. Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller ranked ninth, while fellow supermodel Adriana Lima rounded the top ten, praised for helping Brazilian orphans in her native land besides from modeling and being a spokesperson for Armani Jeans.
