Rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez’s third marriage to Marc Anthony is no longer that ideal as everyone thought. Last week, J. Lo showed up at the premiere of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” without her 8-karat diamond wedding ring. Prior to that, Marc Anthony was spotted out in Las Vegas without a ring as well. Moreover the couple's $8.5 million Bel-Air mansion for sale.
And on top of these all, Us Weekly's cover is saying out loud "The Ring is Off," reporting that A-list couple's marriage is in trouble. "If the ring's not on, there's a reason for it," said Us Weekly's Jill Martin. "She doesn't just accidentally forget to wear the ring." Until last night, Us Weekly claims the couple hadn't been seen together since October 23.
It’s their not wearing their wedding rings that caused such a fuss that is now being confirmed by an insider as well. "They both didn't wear their rings on purpose," the insider told Us Weekly. "Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose." Moreover Marc Anthony apparently has been ruling over Jennifer Lopez for quite some time, causing the passion to quickly fade from their four year marriage. "He's very, very controlling of her," another insider told the magazine. "The skirts aren't as short. You don't see so much of that booty anymore."
The insider also said: "They are both getting bored. She wanted this domestic life, but now she's bored out of her mind. She wants the old J.Lo back." Her best friend, Leah Remini, is by her side, especially because she can’t stand Anthony at all.
But in spite of it all, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had a very public dinner at Luau in Beverly Hills Tuesday night. "They snuggled together in a booth, feeding each other Wagyu Kobe meatballs and sharing the tamarind-glazed ribs," a source told E! News regarding Tuesday night's date. Marc’s representative, Blanca Lasalle, refutes all of these rumors, saying, that thetwo are doing great and that they are together.
Lopez, who once commanded $15 million per film "blames Marc for her career going down the tubes," says a mutual pal, adding that she's bitter about the failure of their 2006 drama, “El Cantante,” which only grossed $7.5 million, while her 2002 film, “Maid in Manhattan,” earned over $94 million.
Lopez and Anthony married in a quiet home wedding on June 5, 2004, four days after his divorce from former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, with whom he has two children, was final. Their ceremony was private and unpublicized. On the last night of their "En Concierto" tour November 7, 2007, before a crowd of fans, Lopez confirmed she was expecting her first child with husband Marc Anthony. Lopez gave birth on February 22, 2008 to fraternal twins, a girl and a boy, Emme Marbiel Muñiz, and Maximilian "Max" David Muñiz.
