Apple announced that its annual World Wide Developer
Conference, better known as WWDC will take place from June 9 to June 13 at the Moscone Center.
According to the website of the event, WWDC will host the
best of the Apple developer universe and it is concentrated mainly on the three
tracks of innovation: the iPhone, the Mac and the IT (meaning Leopard server). The
tag line for the WWDC 08 is: "A landmark event. In more ways than one"
As the iPhone SDK was released last week and on June 29 is
the date when Apple said it will release the final version is easy to guess
that the ultimate gadget will be the star of the event.
However, Apple has already created a page about WWDC on its website, where every “track”
is explained in detail.
Last year WWDC 2007 was held from June 11 to June 15 and
during his keynote, Steve Jobs introduced a beta version of Mac OS X 10.5
Leopard, announced Safari for Windows and support for third-party developers
for iPhone. Also, during the same keynote, Jobs officially announced iPhone’s
launch date.
Those who wish to attend at the conference must pay $1,295.00
and they have to be either an ADC Member or Registered iPhone Developer.
