Nowadays, Apple seems to be an unstoppable force on the technology market. It hit the spot with their unbelievably wide variety of iPod, which truly come in all shapes, sizes and color, it almost took over the smartphone market with their iPhone, and it gained impressive market share in their continuous battle with PCs after releasing their MacBooks.
And of course it took everyone by surprise with its ultra thin, ultra portable MacBook Air.But Apple isn’t kicking it back. Relaxing in the technology world is equivalent with market suicide. Considering the incredibly fast pace of technology updates, constant research and innovation is cardinal for companies who want to stay alive and maybe even thrive in the business.
To keep up with their competitors, Apple will launch next week a new laptop (or maybe a new lineup), which still remains unnamed. Their launching strategy, however, hasn’t changed: days before an official statement and invitation to an Apple conference, there are rumors and speculations. Apparently, the new laptop is centered on the leitmotif “brick”, thought to be referring to a new technology process.
The design of the new laptop will apparently be inspired from MacBook Air. The price, however, will be the lowest one yet for an Apple notebook, if the rumors are true. It has been said that it will be available from $800, as opposed to the current cheapest model, which is $1,099.
The new Apple notebook has also been said to come in versions of 13, 15 and 17-inch screens. However, until the official information will come out on October 14, nothing should be taken for granted.
