Rumors about the imminent Apple launch of its new Mac minis and its updated iMacs are becoming more and more credible or just more numerous after more evidence about the new Mac desktops has been leaked online.
According to other leaks that occurred a few days ago, Apple has been planning an event on March 24 in which it allegedly wanted to launch its newest products. However, the products might be launched sooner than expected, although the latest rumors could be just the traditional ya-da ya-da aiming to stir even more buzz in anticipation of the actual launch.
The first leak was a
photo of what seems to be the back of a new retail box for the updated Mac mini. The photo shown on the back of the retail box is compatible with information on the product provided by other leaks. The second evidence that seems to indicate an imminent product release from Apple is a series of SKUs in the inventory systems of at least one "major overseas electronics retailer," as noted by arstechnica.com.
A
report on HardMac.com even names the two Mac mini models and four iMac models will ship tomorrow. But if the aforementioned products are released tomorrow, what about the rumored March 24 event that Apple has been preparing?
However, if you like rumors, here’s some more. The new Mac minis (the MB463 and MB464) and the iMac models (ranging from MB417 through MB420) will run Intel Core 2 Duo processors and NVIDIA 9400M chipsets. The first iMac model will feature a 20" display, while the other, higher-end models will pack 24" screens.
