Another Exclusive For Wii and DS: Geometry Wars:Galaxies

Nintendo Wii is a success and the game publishers won’t miss the opportunity to launch new games for this gaming console. The latest addition to Wii’s portfolio of games is Geometry Wars: Galaxies, announced by Sierra Entertainment. The game is a 2D arcade shooter games and it will be launched exclusively for Wii and DS consoles.

Kuju Entertainment is the developer of this follow-up of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and they promised

an all new mission-based campaign where players blast-off on action-paced quests across the galaxy, defending solar systems one by one, defeating waves of alien enemies on new and classic Battle Grids.

As you can imagine the controls of the game were modified in order to allow the players to use

the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller or DS touch screen to execute hotshot moves as never before.

Also, Geometry Wars: Galaxies will feature for the first time a multiplayer mode.

For the first time ever, the Geometry Wars videogame will let players battle via hot seat, co-op, simultaneous and versus in multiplayer mode.

"The Geometry Wars: Galaxies videogame is an entertaining title blending old-school arcade fun with next-gen gameplay and action," said Al Simone, SVP of Global Marketing for Sierra Entertainment. "We are excited to bring the Geometry Wars brand to the Nintendo platform as both the Wii and DS enable a fun and frenetic experience for gamers."
