By the time Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was being sentenced to four and a half years behind bars late last month, the actress had already started dating a new guy, actor Adam Shulman, who was recently revealed by Life & Style magazine.

The actress dropped the first clues on October 20, at the London premier of her new movie "Rachel Getting Married," when she couldn't conceal her excitement about the new man in her life.

"I happened to meet a sexy guy the other day," she divulged at the time. "You know when you don’t know someone very well…you just meet them and you’re like, ‘Wow, you really have it going on’?”

However, she did not disclose her  new boyfriend's name, until he decided it was time to in an interview with Life & Style.

"We met through mutual friends. I came to support Anne. We've never been to New Orleans before — it's our first time," said Shulman, who accompanied the actress to an October 29 screening of her movie at the Canal Place Cineman before crashing with pals at local hot spot Patois.

Although the two appeared to be getting along well together, things weren't perfect at first, a witness overheard Hathaway saying. Apparently, the 27-year-old actor was seeing someone else and she thought she would have had to step back.

"Adam’s everything Raffaello wasn’t," an insider close to the actress told Life & Style. "He’s sensitive and kind to a fault. I think Anne may have found a kindred spirit."

"The Devil Wears Prada" star and Follieri broke up in September after a year of scandal linked to the 29-year-old Italian-American businessman. Fearing the effect Follieri's controversial business dealings might have on her career, Hathaway decided to put an end to the relationship after four years.

"It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation," a source said at the time.

In mid-October, Follieri pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud and money laundering and was sentenced to 54 months in prison. He admitted misappropriating at least $2.4 million of investor money, sending it to foreign personal bank accounts that were disguised as business accounts, and using the funds to maintain his and Hathaway's lavish lifestyle.

The actress can next be seen alongside another sexy man, Johnny Depp, in Tim Burton's film adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland," People reported. "I hope I don’t faint. I’m wearing a corset which is difficult enough, but then to have to wear a corset and be short-breathed around Johnny Depp?"

Hathaway is also slated for the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the 20th annual Palm Springs Film Fest on January 6 for her part in "Rachel Getting Married."
