"Bride Wars" co-stars Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson dismissed rumors they were being hostile with one another since working together on the movie sets.

Currently on a promotional tour for their upcoming movie about two best friends, who have been dreaming about their perfect weddings ever since they were little girls but end up in a difficult situation when both their ceremonies get booked for the same day, Hathaway said she and Hudson were actually great friends in spite of all the rumors which have plagued them ever since the movie started shooting. 

Even after the movie wrapped up, the two "still text each other all the time and see each other a lot."

During a recent appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman," Hudson mocked Anne Hathaway's failed relationship with jailed ex-boyfriend Raffaelo Follieri saying "Surprises in life are awesome," when Letterman brought it up. However, that was just a harmless joke since Hudson later said, "Annie was great."

"We had so much fun. We said to each other when we first started, 'I wonder when the rumors are going to start that we're not getting along?' because it always happens. And guess what - it took a week!" she added.

Stepping hand in hand on the red carpet for the New York premiere of "Bride Wars," the two actresses looked happy and bubbly together, complementing each other's looks. Hathaway appeared sleek and sophisticated in her tuxedo jacket and black skinny pants, while Hudson donned an elegant white gown decorated with intricate dark embroidery.
