The actress and former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith seems
to be a subject of dispute also now, after she suddenly died few months ago.
However, after the paternity trial had finally ended and Anna Nicole Smith’s
little girl was given to her real father for loving and caring after her, a new
issue appeared. A video tape that had been made of the late woman’s 1994 breast
augmentation has been the recent subject of dispute.
Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff issued a temporary
restraining order that prevents the release of a 1994 videotape Friday at the
request of Smith's former attorney and executor of her will, Howard K. Stern.
The former lawyer, lover and executor of Anna Nicole Smith’s
will, Howard K. Stern has also accused Gerald Wayne Johnson, the doctor who had
performed the surgery, of sending the video tape to a Los Angeles memorial
dealer. Furthermore, Stern has also claimed that the doctor had filmed the
procedure without Smith’s consent.
But Gerald Wayne Johnson has replied by saying that he
routinely records the surgeries with the patients’ permission, while promising
them to keep the video confidential “during the patient’s lifetime”.
However, for the moment the surgeon could not sale,
distribute or disseminate the video tape’s content.
Anna Nicole Smith died in February, at 39 years, of an
accidental drug overdose. Her death, as well as her life, has been marked by a
series of legal battles.
