Thursday night, during talk-show host David Letterman’s “The Late Show,” actress Jennifer Aniston offered the latter the necktie she wore for the GQ magazine cover she was featured on. The early Christmas gift, as Jen called it, is actually the only piece of clothing the “Friends” star wore for the photo that appeared on the GQ cover, which managed to give rise to many a question concerning the reasons behind her almost nude picture.
Nevertheless, at her new movie “Marley&Me’s” premiere, Aniston put an end to all the rumors by stating she had not aimed to make any statement via the enticing magazine cover.
Jennifer appeared on Letterman’s talk show to promote the aforementioned movie, in which she stars alongside Owen Wilson, Eric Dane and Alan Arkin, as Jennifer Grogan, whose family learns some important life lessons from their cute but neurotic dog.
When David Letterman received the necktie, he took off the one he was wearing and, on the notes of some burlesque-style tunes the show’s band began playing at that point, he put on the one Jen had given him with some help from the actress herself.
During „The Late Show,” Aniston, 39, explained that she had accepted to appear on the GQ cover wearing nothing but the tie and a big smile on her face because with age, she had come to feel more comfortable in her skin, adding that her looks reflected her inner wellbeing.
Jennifer Aniston rose to fame in mid 1990s, for her portrayal of Rachel Green in the popular “Friends” sitcom, a role that earned her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
