Angelina Jolie thought of her late mother Marcheline Bertrand so she could play her latest acting role better. The actress revealed this detail to The New York Daily News during an interview at the New York Film Festival premiere.
In "The Changeling," the 33-year-old actress plaid the role of a desperate mother seeking her kidnapped son and Jolie said that thinking of her late mother made her understand her role better. Her mother, Jolie said, would have fought really hard in a similar situation. The role made Jolie confront her worst fear.
“It made me feel closer to my kids and grateful every night just to know where they are and that they're healthy,” the Oscar winner told reporters.
"The Changeling" was directed by Clint Eastwood.
Jolie and Brad Pitt looked great on the red carpet after a few months of absence due to the actress’ pregnancy and birth. The couple was glowing and looked really happy together dismissing rumors that their relationship began to turn sour. Pitt and Jolie cuddled, kissed and hugged before the photo cameras. He even went so far as to pinch Jolie from her booty a few times.
The last time Jolie was spotted in public was in New Orleans on Monday. The actress was accompanied by three of her children: Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. They were walking around the French Quarter district, E!Online reported.
