It was the DVD launch for hit animated film “Kung Fu Panda”
and what better topic of conversation than children for star Angelina Jolie?
Angelina Jolie was on hand with co-stars Jack Black and
Dustin Hoffman to attend the DVD premiere of “Kung Fu Panda” at Grauman’s Chinese
Theater in Hollywood
this Sunday and questions about her children naturally could not miss from
reporters.
Angelina Jolie shared that she had made her children proud lending
her voice to Master Tigress and that they all have “mom dolls” they play with.
In June, “Kung Fu Panda” made its glorious debut at No. 1 at
the North American box office, earning an impressive $60.2 million on its
opening weekend. The film has accumulated more than $600 million around the
world.
DreamWorks’ Jeffrey Katzenberg presented a check for $1
million to the Conservation International, to help them in their efforts for
the preservation of pandas in their natural habitat and Jolie told People magazine
that using the money made by the film for good causes was one of the aspects
she thoroughly enjoyed.
A sequel has already been scheduled for release in 2011 and
both Jolie and Black have signed on to reprise their roles. Titled “Pandamonium,”
the 3D sequel will be directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, head of story on “Kung
Fu Panda.”
By the time “Pandamonium” comes out, Jolie and Brad Pitt’s four-month
twins will be ready to enjoy the cartoon with their older siblings. The actress
told People that Knox and Vivienne may still be little but their personalities
are already “starting to shine,” mostly through a lot of smiling.
She told Access Hollywood at the same event that she and
Pitt are enjoying raising their brood of six, even if it sometimes gets
overwhelming and that they would absolutely love to have even more children.
