Friday,
Angelina Jolie was featured on the top position on The Hollywood
Reporter’s list of highest-earning actresses, with $15 million earned this year
for having starred in the action movie "Wanted."
Moreover, she could come into another $20 million for a
leading role in a possible sequel to the production.
Right behind Jolie was Oscar winner Julia Roberts, 41, who
has earned over $15 million for her part in "Duplicity," which is slated to
open the following year.
The actress who topped The Hollywood Reporter’s list last
year Reese Witherspoon, 32, was featured at no.3, with $14 million gained for
appearing in the comedy hit "Four Christmases" that debuted in theaters the
previous week.
Actresses Cameron Diaz, Katherine Heigl, Kate Hudson, Anne
Hathaway and Jennifer Aniston also scored a position on the list, while Oscar
winners Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman were dropped from the top, since they haven’t
been able to earn $10 million per movie.
As for actors, star of blockbusters "Hancock" and "I Am
Legend" Will Smith is said to be coming into as much as $25 million a movie,
while Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp make from $15 million to $20 million for a
movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Angelina
Jolie, 33, mother of six and life-partner of the aforementioned Pitt starred in
2007’s “A Mighty Heart” and in the movie "Changeling," which was
released this year.
Last month,
the actress revealed she was considering putting her career on the back-burner
for a while, in order to have more time to spend with her children.
