A glowing Angelina Jolile accompanied by life partner Brad Pitt showed up at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday where the actress scooped the “Outstanding Performance Award” for her part in “A Mighty Heart.”
The trophy for her amazing enactment of Mariane Pearl, the wife of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl, who was murdered in Pakistan six years ago, is one of the very few Jolie picked up personally.
"To be honest, I just heard that it was a beautiful festival, and one to take seriously," Jolie was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
The award was presented by Clint Eastwood, director of Jolie's upcoming drama "The Changeling."
"Clint Eastwood? Don't get me started," Jolie said after receiving the award. "I could talk forever about him. I could turn the whole evening into a Clint Eastwood evening. ... I think he's just a genuinely great guy. He's nice to everybody on set.”
Other honorees include Casey Affleck, Julie Christie, Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Gosling, James McAvoy, Ellen Page and Amy Ryan.
The 32-year-old actress and mother-of-four fueled recent pregnancy rumors by wearing a black blouse and loose-fitting floor-length skirt. The speculation began when Jolie told In Touch magazine that she may have another biological baby with Brad in 2008.
"...who knows, maybe we will have another child in 2008," she reportedly told the mag.
While dodging questions about her rumored pregnancy on the red carpet, Jolie is said to be waiting to sell the confirmation to the press and give the proceeds to charity.
