The British singer, Amy Winehouse, remained in hospital on
Tuesday after the first tests proved inconclusive.
Winehouse, who was taken to the hospital by her father after
she briefly fainted, would be undergoing further tests and the doctors want to
keep her under observation.
However, her spokesperson said that Amy Winehouse seems to
be fine, but the doctors want to be sure what has caused her collapse on
Monday.
The British singer is known to battle her drug addiction and
earlier this year she went to rehab. However, according to various rumors, her
rehab session was not successful.
Her spokesperson underlined that the Monday
incident was not serious or drugs related and her father insisted to take her
to the hospital as “a precaution”.
Amy Winehouse is scheduled to perform on June 27 at Nelson Mandela’s
birthday concert which takes place in Hyde Park.
There were also reports that the singer is working on a new
album. Her previous album, “Back In Blak”, was released in 2006 and has sold 5
million copies worldwide.
