Amy Winehouse, the British singer who won six Grammys this year, has not been released from the hospital.

The singer was admitted yesterday at the London Clinic, after she briefly fainted at the her home.

Her spokesman Chris Goodman confirmed that it is possible that Amy Winehouse would be released today. He explained doctors have performed a series of tests and they want to be sure the cause of the fainting has been identified. Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital by her father, Mitch Winehouse.

Last year, the British singer, who is expected to perform on June 27 at the concert in the honor of Nelson Mandela, was hospitalized for exhaustion.

Last month, Amy Winehouse, who supposedly started working on a possible music theme for the upcoming "James Bond" movie, ditched the project since she is "not ready to record any music."

Winehouse and Ronson started collaborating on the track at Ronson’s studio in Henley, Oxfordshire, in April but their sessions soon deteriorated.

However, the 24-year-old singer, who gained notoriety for her erratic behavior due to drug abuse and messy private live, snapped back at Ronson for his comments, claiming that artistic differences had resulted in the project being scrapped.

Amy Winehouse also intends to release a new album and to make a duet with Peter Doherty for the upcoming Babyshambles album.
