The British singer got married to her fiancé Blake Fielder-Civil on Friday during a “secret” beach ceremony in Miami, her rep confirmed the news exclusively to Usmagazine.com.
"Amy Winehouse did get married to fiancé Blake Fielder-Civil this morning in a very private, intimate ceremony. They are very happy."
The two who have been dating on and off for the last couple of years, got engaged in April this when Fielder-Civil presented her with a Tiffany diamond ring.
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter sported a short floral-patterned sundress while the groom wore a retro grey suit.
After the ceremony, they celebrated their union with by the pool at the Shore Club.
"They look so happy and in love," a witness was quoted by Usmagazine as saying. "She wore shorts and a tank top. They were all over each other."
Apparently, Winehouse didn’t force her fresh husband to sign a prenuptial agreement before their marriage. Sources claim Fielder-Civil has been bragging that he refused to sign an agreement when asked.
"Blake has been singing, ‘They tried to make me sign a pre-nup, but I said no, no, no’ to the tune of her Rehab song. Some of the people that know him have nicknamed him Anna Nicole Smith because they think he’s only after her money."
Winehouse recently said: "I am a very lucky girl to have found someone I love a lot. I want to be with Blake for the rest of my life."
"We are very close and the best of friends. I don't want to be with anyone else and nor does he."
"Obviously we are both young and it is frightening. But it is the right thing to do," she said.
