This year’s audition for the popular show, American Idol,
brought no less then thousands of people at the Texas Stadium. Waiting in line
since the small hours, the sun couldn’t discourage them: all of them were there
to fulfill their dream.
But in order to fulfill their dream, they had only 15
seconds to show the judges their best and they used different ways to do that. Wearing
musical legends’ costumes or dressed like witches, they all had the same goal –
to impress.
Dallas
has proven to have potential, Kelly Clarkson, the first and most successful
"American Idol" winner has roots from the neighboring, and also Nikki
McKibbin, who finished third to Clarkson.
The contestants were assisted with ice packs and were
offered first aid if temperatures that climbed past 90 degrees affected
them; the others were assisted by their
iPods to help them rehearse and by their friends or family to provide them
support.
But those who passed this Monday’s audition will have to
confront another one, in front of show executives before they have the
opportunity to sing in front of judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul
and Randy Jackson for the taped portions of the show.
Last week no less than 12,000 people were gathered by the
same dream – American Idol- in San
Diego.
Five more auditions are ready to challenge some other
talented people in Omaha,
Neb.; Atlanta; Charleston, S.C.; Miami and Philadelphia
in the weeks coming.
Get ready for the show! They sure are, preparing surprises
for their return to the air in January!
