Police officials in Michigan issued an Amber Alert for three young girls who went missing after their mother was found dead in Saginaw.
Considering the clues and evidence police investigators have so far, the most probable hypothesis is that the mother was murdered and the three little children - 3-year-old Victoria Olguin, 5-year-old Lilliana Olguin and 9-year-old Elena Olguin – were abducted by their estranged father.
The mother was found dead on Monday night by police officers after she failed to pick up one of her daughters from school. The father who is suspected of the murder and abduction has been identified by police investigators as 35-year-old Jose Angel Olguin.
Michigan police officials said the man is believed to be driving a yellow Buick Skylark with a Michigan license plate number BWW 6981. Another detail that might help you locate the man is the fact that the passenger’s window is duct taped. If you see the man or have any other information about him and/or the three young girls call 911 or the Saginaw police station at (989) 737-3304.
Jose Olguin has reportedly visited some of his relatives in Elkhart, Ind., on Monday evening, said Police Sgt. Brent VanderHaar according to The Associated Press news agency. The man is thought to have been headed north to Saginaw or south to Texas because he has relatives there.
“We’re trying to see if we can find any direction of travel,” VanderHaar said.
