Did it ever happen to have your mind on buying something and forgetting all about it? Apparently, for people in this situation, Amazon provides an excellent solution, nicely covered in a program they call Amazon Remembers.

This new shopping feature allows Amazon users to take a photo of a product they desire, send it to Amazon.com and if that certain product is in stock you may buy it whenever you want. Amazon said that this feature was especially designed for those owning an iPhone or iPod Touch, which can connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi.

The new mobile application has been made available on Apple’s App Store on Wednesday and shoppers can start using it immediately. The basic idea is excellent but it raises some questions, referring to how are the products identified only following what a simple picture has to offer. Amazon said that if the certain photographed product is not in store, the user will be shown a variety of very similar products.

The application was designed to be fast and useful for undecided shoppers or for those who have a habit of forgetting things like this. Amazon launched a similar feature in April when it allowed its users to shop from their mobile phones through simple text messages.

All in all, it seems that Amazon is trying to innovate itself even further which is a good thing as Internet shopping has become vastly popular and staying in front demands for some very special services. Shopping using your mobile phone is a great advancement in making shopping a lot more accessible and easier than ever.
