According to People.com reported this morning that Alyson Hannigan is pregnant. Alyson, 34, and husband Alexis Denisof, 42, announced that they are expecting their first child this spring.

Alyson Hannigan is the star of CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother” and formerly of the WB’s “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.” The two met during the 1999-2000 season of “Buffy,” and got married in 2003. Denisof went on from "Buffy" to its spinoff "Angel" and has also guest starred on his wife's show, playing Sandy Rivers. At the same time, on the big screen, Hannigan is famous for her role as band geek Michelle opposite Jason Biggs in the American Pie trilogy. Although Hannigan had appeared in an industrial film for "Active Parenting" as a baby, as well as starred in a commercial for the Duncan Hines cookie mix in 1978, it was not until she moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1985 that she formally began her acting career.

But first of all she is a seasoned television actress veteran, guest starring in "Picket Fences" (1992), "Roseanne" (1988), "Touched by an Angel" (1994) and the "The Torkelsons" (1991) before starring in her most notorious role yet in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997) as Willow Rosenberg.

She is also a spokesperson for breast cancer, and will appear in a new four page brochure (to be featured in Vogue, Glamour, Self, Mademoiselle, and Women's Sports and Fitness) to raise awareness about the disease.
