All Aboard For Northrend, The Wrath Of Lich King Has Arrived!

It’s been a long, productive night for World of Warcraft gamers around the world, as they counted down the seconds to grab that zepp and set foot on Northrend for the first time. After a longtime waiting and wishing they could all try out the Beta, the Wrath of the Lich King is finally out.

So make sure your fridge is full for the next few days, and arm yourself with endless patience to grab a mob and finish a quest, cause this weekend, millions of players will be exploring the new continent (and probably stealing your mobs too…).

This is the second expansion pack for worldwide online sensation World of Warcraft, after The Burning Crusade, and it has been highly anticipated by fans across the globe: new quests, 10 more levels, new areas, a new class (Death Knight) and of course new challenges.

It probably won’t be long until we see the first level 80 character proudly strutting its stuff in one of the capital cities…it’s just a matter of hours. And be ready to change those epics to greenies again, at least until you get a chance to start some serious raiding.

Blizzard’s servers will have a lot to put up with these days, as many players will dust off their keyboards and start playing again after taking a short vacation prior to launch.

There are over 11 million World of Warcraft players around the globe, and no doubt about it, the Wrath of the Lich King expansion will sell its way to the top, with at least 4 million copies expected to be sold within the first few months of release.

So as everyone waits for another announcement from Blizzard on selling millions of copies of WOTLK in a matter of hours, players have already begun fighting their way through the icy continent of Northrend.
