Adam Sandler Expecting Second Child

Comedian Adam Sandler and wife Jackie are expecting their second baby, he announced this week on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Adam Sandler revealed to host Jay Leno that wife Jackie is three-moths pregnant – and feeling it intensely. Morning sickness is an “all day” affair for the 33-year-old, said Sandler, and he does his best to assuage both wife and daughter Sadie.

Sandler, 41, shared his soothing technique with the audience, detailing what he tells 2-year-old Sadie when she sees mommy is sick. “Mommy’s not bad sick. She just has something growing in her that’s eventually gonna shoot out her vagina and take half your toys. She’s better now,” he joked.

On a more serious note, the actor revealed that it IS not all a joking matter to him and that he rubs his wife’s back and soothes her with words like, “It’s worth it. We’re going to have another beautiful baby. I love you. Thanks for doing this.”

Sandler and Jackie have been married since June 2003. They welcomed their first baby in May 2006.

The proud daddy next stars in “You Don't Mess with the Zohan,” another wacky comedy making good use of his willingness to make fun of himself. Written by Sandler, Judd Apatow and Robert Smigel, and directed by Dennis Dugan, it stars the comedian as an Israeli commando with an unusual ideal.

Wishing to become a hairstylist in New York, the man stages his own death. The cast includes Emmanuelle Chriqui , John Turturro, Talia Shire and a cameo from Mariah Carey. Longtime friend and collaborator Rob Schneider (“The Waterboy,” “50 First Dates,” “The Longest Yard”) also appears.

Sandler was also reunited with the director of his 2007 comedy “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.”

The film is slated for a June 6 release.
