A-Rod's wife Cynthia Rodriguez has filed for divorce alleging adultery and emotional abandonment of her and their children, but did not name any of her husband's extramarital partners. Cynthia said she tried everything to save their marriage but failed and has no other option than to divorce.

One of Cynthia's lawyers, Maurice Kutner, allegedly told the New York Post, that the rumored affair with Madonna has been the "last straw". "It's caused her tremendous stress, and she's doing the best she can to deal with it," said the lawyer.

However, the same Maurice Kutner told AP that his client does not want to indicate alleged paramours by name, as Cynthia made it very clear to the lawyer that she wants to take the high road. Cynthia Rodriguez allegedly has demanded primary custody of their two children, as well as child support and alimony, plus the $12 million, six-bedroom house in the upscale Miami suburb of Coral Gable and her super-expensive Mercedes-Benz Maybach car.

Meanwhile, Madonna issued a strong-worded statement denying any rumors about her divorce, any romantic link with Rodriguez and also any allegations that she is coaching him in Kabala.
