A-Rod's wife Cynthia Rodriguez has filed for divorce alleging adultery and emotional abandonment of her and their children, but did not name any of her husband's extramarital partners. Cynthia said she tried everything to save their marriage but failed and has no other option than to divorce.

Cynthia Rodriguez allegedly has demanded primary custody of their two children, as well as child support and alimony, plus the $12 million, six-bedroom house in the upscale Miami suburb of Coral Gable and her super-expensive Mercedes-Benz Maybach car.

Meanwhile, A-Rod spent a few minutes chatting up Sheryl Crow and posed with her for the cameras Tuesday night, during the American League's batting practice before the All-Star Game. Also, Madonna is being accused by some media outlets that she is manipulating the media's attention toward her controversial relationship with Alex Rodriguez only to generate press for her upcoming tour, Sticky and Sweet. The New York Post alleges that a source told them that Madonna "doesn't care about the press it will get -- she loves it. It just gets her more publicity for her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour."

There were also rumors that Alex Rodriguez was spotted at Madonna's late at night, which triggered speculation that the two are having an affair. Madonna issued a strong-worded statement denying any rumors about her divorce, any romantic link with Rodriguez and also any allegations that she is coaching him in Kabala.

Last December, New York Yankees officials announced the signing of a new 10-year contract with Alex Rodriguez. This came as a surprise after A-Rod opted out of the three-year remaining contract with the New York team. While the Yankees declared that they did not wish to extend their collaboration with Rodriguez as a free agent, the new surprising deal is worth $275 million, with a rumored incentive package that would raise its value to over $305 million.
