Following incongruous reports with regard to A-Rod’s
Thanksgiving plans, the Yankees star finally showed that he can make both
parties content at the same time. Alex Rodriguez spent some quality time with
his family and subsequently celebrated Thanksgiving with his girl pal, Madonna,
who has just been granted a preliminary divorce from British filmmaker Guy
Ritchie.
Before joining his soon-to-be-ex-wife Cynthia and their two
daughters, 4-year-old Natasha and 7-month-old Ella, at their Miami
home on Thursday afternoon, the 33-year-old athlete met Madge’s manager, Guy
Oseary, for brunch.
According to the New York Daily News, A-Rod left the house
of his family at approximately 4 p.m.
and drove his black Porsche to Star Island,
where the 50-year-old singer owns a property. The newspaper cited unnamed
sources as saying that the Yankees star’s vehicle remained parked in front of
Madonna’s home throughout the entire night.
In spite of the fact that various reports circulating last
week stated that Alex Rodriguez planned to spend Thanksgiving with Madonna,
thus abandoning his family, a source informed PEOPLE that A-Rod had no such
intentions.
Earlier this week, the athlete was spotted in a front row at
the Dolphin Stadium in Miami, at one
of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour gigs. According to reports, the pop icon
kept throwing glances at A-Rod during her performance. In addition, the singer
smiled at Alex Rodriguez while she was singing “You Must Love Me,” urging a
smirk by the athlete as well.
And now, it appears that Madge has prolonged her Miami
stay so that she and her boyfriend are able to spend holiday together. What a
Thanksgiving Day!
