Alex Rodriguez reportedly reached a divorce settlement with his soon-to-be ex-wife.

The super slugger who plays for the New York Yankees has been married to Cynthia Rodriguez for more than five years now. She filed for divorce two months ago claiming that A-Rod had been unfaithful to her and it did not happen just once.

A-Rod earns big money while playing for the Yankees. He has just entered the first year of a 10-year deal with the NY baseball club. He is batting .304 this season with 35 homers and 101 RBIs. A-Rod should earn at least $275 million from the deal with the Yankees.

The details of the couple’s divorce settlement weren’t released, but according to some reports, A-Rod’s 35-year-old wife wants the slugger’s $12 million estate in Coral Cables, Fla. Cynthia is also seeking primary custody of their two girls, Ella (5) and Natasha (2 months). Although the two signed a prenuptial agreement, Cynthia was expected to challenge it.

When news broke out that A-Rod’s marriage to Cynthia went sour and they want to divorce, there were also rumors that the baseball super star was romantically involved with the pop diva of them all, Madonna. Both A-Rod and Madonna denied the reports.

"Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings," Alex Rodriguez’ lawyer, Alan Kluger, said in a statement to the “New York Daily News.”

Kluger added that all the decision A-Rod and C-Rod took in order to settle the divorce suit were “based upon and guided by the best interests of their daughters."
