This year’s Macworld seems covered in a veil of dullness, as Steve Jobs will not make his usual appearance at the end of the convention and there are no revolutionary Apple products to be unveiled.
Last year at Macworld, Steve Jobs ended the fair by showing to the world the fantastic MacBook Air, causing an incredible wave of excitement among Apple enthusiasts all over the world and to those that were there at the big event. Apple fans are still hoping that Jobs will make a surprise appearance at the end of the convention.
The official schedule includes Apple's head of marketing Phil Schiller, who is expected to announce revamps for Apple's operating system software and updated versions of Apple's desktop computers.
About 40,000 developers, consumers and Mac enthusiasts are expected to attend Macworld which runs all week. Even so, Apple fans are not as excited as they should be and how could they be? This year’s Macworld is competing with previous editions where products such as the MacBook Air, iPod, iPhone, the iMac and iTunes have been shown to the public.
Apple is built on the image of providing the world with revolutionary products, things that are very simple, but yet nobody thought of them except the people at Apple.
Bloggers are still writing in anticipation of the big event that starts next week, and are hoping for the surprise appearance of Steve Jobs. This would certainly cheer p the atmosphere, as Jobs is extremely loved by the Apple users all over the world.
