Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren are the proud parents of a baby girl.

According to the New York Daily News, the actress from “Fantastic Four,” gave birth, this weekend, at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The 27 year-old actress announced the pregnancy in December. At the time she was engaged to Warren.

Alba and Warren met in 2004 on the set of “Fantastic Four” and, three weeks ago, on May 19, the couple got married at a courthouse in Beverly Hills.

Alba’s father said his granddaughter was beautiful, reported the New York Daily News.

Her husband was spotted at the hospital, as well, and he was carrying food. They didn’t make public any information regarding their daughter and Alba’s spokesman refused to comment.

She talked about her pregnancy in a TV show called “Extra,” saying that she was more afraid of breast- feeding than of the actual process of giving birth. She also said that the pregnancy made her very emotional. In a January interview to promote “The Eye,” the actress said she thought Warren would make “the best father.”

In a short period of time Alba became a wife and also a mother. Even though she didn’t plan that, she admitted that the timing was “perfect,” reported the New York Daily News.

The actress stars in “The Love Guru,” a Mike Meyers comedy which will be released on June 20.
