In a move that might cost him a lot, Randall Stephenson practically confirmed that Apple was planning to release the 3G iPhone in 2008.

During a meeting in California AT&T CEO told reporters that a 3G version of Apple’s gadget would be available in 2008 . However, Stephenson wasn’t able to say when exactly the new phone would be available and how much it would cost.
